I want to pass on some awful news. We have lost three lovely dogs in september to various forms of cancer. Yukon who was adored by Liz Ballentine, Storm loved by the Breens family and our dear Chakotay cherished by Carol Croke and Anthony Meaney.
Yukon and Storm were from Jenny and Midas (d.o.b Nov 3 1995), Chakotay was from Tazzy and Ransom (d.o.b Apr 14 1997), please take your littermates in for a general blood screen as a precaution, these were not old dogs to be taken so soon.
From Colleen and Breezy, Breezy is burning up the agility fields in AAC as well as CKC, she earned her first AAC title june 21/22 at the agility farm, way to go girls!!
From Colleen:
Breeze and I had a good weekend at the agility trial with Sharon Dunsmore. Out of 5 runs we had 4 first places and 1 second.
We also Q'd in Starters Jumpers and 2 Standard runs. We missed 2 standard runs only because Breeze got excited and missed the contact on the dog walk. She is very fast - the course allowed 66 seconds and she completed it in 46 seconds.
May Belleville CKC Agility trial, Miss Breeze earned adds AGN( Agility Dog Novice) to her CH and HT titles, way to go Colleen!
May Sault Ste Marie, great news from Guy:
Maggie got 2 HIT,s and earned 2 of the 5 legs needed for the OTCH XCELLENT title and 15 of the 40 points needed for the MASTERS OTCH title. Sully had a rough weekend, he only got 2 of 4 runs, very distracted with the conf. show going on. he almost beat Magg's for the HIT yesterday, lost by 1/2 a point.
